Procedure Overview

AlloClae Body Contouring also known as: injectable body contouring \ al-oh-clay

A non-surgical body contouring treatment designed to restore volume and improve body shape using processed adipose tissue. Treatment may help enhance curves, improve contour irregularities, and create a fuller, more balanced appearance in targeted areas.

Treatment areas: buttocks, hips, hip dips, and other areas requiring volume restoration, depending on provider assessment and treatment goals.

Addresses Hip dips, minor buttock contour concerns, localized volume loss, and selected post-liposuction irregularities

Procedure Time Often about an hour; timing depends on the treatment area and volume

Eligibility Adults seeking localized contour refinement who qualify after medical evaluation

Possible Side Effects Swelling, bruising, tenderness, firmness, and unevenness; additional risks discussed during consultation

What is AlloClae?

AlloClae is an injectable adipose tissue product made from processed, donated human fat. It adds volume beneath the skin where fat naturally exists, avoiding the liposuction required to harvest your own fat for conventional transfer.

AlloClae contains nonliving fat cells and extracellular matrix, the tissue framework surrounding them. These components provide physical cushioning and structural support in the treated area.

What can AlloClae body contouring treat?

AlloClae can improve localized contour concerns where additional volume will create a smoother transition:

  • Hip dips that interrupt the transition between the hips and thighs
  • Minor buttock asymmetry or areas of lost volume
  • Selected depressions following liposuction
  • Localized soft tissue deficits after weight changes

Selected breast contour concerns, including visible implant rippling, may also warrant discussion. Breast assessment and appropriate imaging are important before treatment. AlloClae cannot replace a breast lift when sagging is the primary concern.

Adding volume will not remove stubborn fat deposits, tighten substantial loose skin, or correct every cause of cellulite.

How does AlloClae work?

AlloClae is placed within the fatty layer beneath your skin. Small, controlled amounts help blend an indentation into the surrounding contour.

Placement, product volume, skin quality, and existing scar tissue all influence the result.

After liposuction, a depression may reflect lost volume, scar tissue tethering the skin, or both. Tethering may need separate correction before added volume can smooth the area.

What are the benefits of AlloClae?

AlloClae restores volume without a liposuction donor site to heal.

It can also offer an option when you have too little available fat for traditional grafting.

  • Softer transitions through the hips and buttocks
  • Natural-looking volume suited to existing body proportions
  • No liposuction donor site to heal
  • Treatment that may be performed with local anesthesia
  • Immediate fullness, followed by settling as swelling improves

Small refinements with AlloClae body contouring can soften the transition between the waist, hips, and thighs while preserving your overall proportions.

Am I a Good Candidate  for AlloClae?

Good candidates

You may be a good candidate if your weight is stable, your goals involve localized volume, and your skin can accommodate the enhancement. Limited donor fat may make AlloClae an alternative to traditional fat transfer.

Who is not a good fit

Active infection or unexplained breast symptoms require evaluation before treatment. Medical conditions, pregnancy, or breastfeeding may affect suitability and timing. Substantial loose skin may need surgical correction. Larger changes in size or projection may require another procedure.

How should I prepare for AlloClae?

  1. Share your medical history, allergies, medications, supplements, and previous procedures.
  2. Discuss weight changes and any scars, implants, or unexplained lumps in the treatment area.
  3. Follow your provider's specific instructions about medications, nicotine, and how to prepare your skin. Don't stop any prescribed medicine without talking to your doctor.
  4. If you will have sedation, arrange for someone to drive you. Keep your schedule flexible in case you have swelling or soreness afterward.

What is an AlloClae appointment like?

Your provider confirms and marks the treatment areas, then administers the planned numbing medication.

Local anesthesia may be used for a limited standalone treatment without general anesthesia.

The tissue is placed through small entry points. You might feel some pressure or movement even with numbing. If you feel sharp pain, let your provider know right away so they can help you stay comfortable.

Treatment often takes about an hour. Multiple areas may take longer. Sterile handling and donor-tissue tracking are part of the procedure. You receive aftercare guidance before leaving.

Recovery after AlloClae

Immediate downtime

Tenderness, swelling, bruising, and temporary firmness are expected during early healing. Swelling may differ between sides, so symmetry becomes easier to assess as it subsides.

Social downtime

Most patients can resume light daily activities within 24–48 hours, although bruising and tenderness may remain. Extensive treatment can require more recovery time. Wait for clearance before strenuous exercise.

Exercise, skincare, and aftercare

Follow your provider's advice about exercise, pressure on the treated areas, bathing, and wearing any special garments. Don't massage the area unless your provider tells you to. Keep the entry points clean and go to your follow-up visits. If you notice more pain, spreading redness, fever, drainage, or changes in skin color, contact your doctor right away.

When will I see results?

Immediate improvement in fullness is visible, although swelling affects the early shape. During the first week, bruising can obscure detail. Over subsequent weeks, the contour becomes easier to assess. Follow-up photographs help distinguish improvement from swelling.

How long do AlloClae results last?

Results can be long-lasting, with duration varying by anatomy, treatment area, aging, and weight changes. A precise lifespan cannot be promised. Long-term cosmetic evidence is developing, and further treatment may be needed.

How many sessions will I need?

A small concern may need one session.

Complex corrections may be treated in stages, allowing swelling to settle before deciding whether more volume is needed.

Your consultation covers the proposed amount and expected improvement.

How much does AlloClae cost in Houston?

Cost depends on product volume, treatment areas, contour complexity, anesthesia, and follow-up needs. Small depressions and broader hip contouring require different amounts of tissue. Ask for an itemized quote, including potential staged correction costs.

AlloClae vs. fat transfer and other options

Traditional fat transfer for buttock enhancement uses your own fat and requires an adequate donor supply. AlloClae uses donor tissue and avoids that harvesting step. Neither approach guarantees that every bit of initial fullness will remain.

Liposuction reduces excess fat; AlloClae adds volume where fullness is missing. Hyaluronic acid fillers, other synthetic fillers, and collagen stimulators have different compositions and treatment roles. The appropriate choice depends on the area, tissue quality, and amount of correction needed.

Can AlloClae be combined with other treatments?

AlloClae may be considered for a remaining contour depression after liposuction. The tissues need time to heal before the deficit can be assessed accurately. Loose skin or uneven skin texture may require separate treatment, with timing planned around your recovery.

AlloClae Frequently Asked Questions

AlloClae is supplied as a human tissue product under the Section 361 HCT/P framework. This regulatory pathway differs from FDA premarket approval for drugs and devices. AlloClae is not an FDA-approved injectable filler.

AlloClae comes from donated human adipose tissue. Donors undergo screening and testing, and the tissue is processed and sterilized. These safeguards reduce risk but cannot eliminate the possibility of disease transmission.

It cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase, as hyaluronic acid fillers can. Discuss correction options before treatment. Management depends on the concern and may require another procedure.

Allow time for bruising, follow-up, and activity restrictions. Swimming, travel, and pressure on treated areas may affect planning. Ask your provider about your actual dates before booking.

Possible complications include infection, nodules or cysts, allergic reactions, contour irregularities, and disease transmission. Your medical history, previous procedures, and treatment location can affect individual risk.

Tell your breast-imaging team about any injected tissue. New lumps or imaging changes may need evaluation. Review your screening history and any existing implant concerns with your surgeon before treatment.
